Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. Between them that means pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device and browser type, and where you arrived from. Google Analytics sets cookies and can be switched off, which is covered below. Cloudflare Web Analytics sets no cookies and collects no personal data.

Google Signals is switched off on this property, so your activity here is not combined with your Google account or used for advertising.

Form submissions. If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, company name if you give one, and whatever you write in the message. The form posts to this site, which hands the message to Resend to deliver it to me by email. Nothing you type is sent to a third party by your browser.

Nothing else. This site carries no advertising tags, no third-party marketing pixels, no session recording, no heatmaps, and no chat widget.

Analytics, to understand which parts of the site are useful. Form submissions, to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to keep a record of how the conversation started.

Nothing is sold. Nothing is shared for advertising.

Google handles the analytics data, through Google Analytics. Cloudflare hosts this site, runs Cloudflare Web Analytics, and runs the code that receives the contact form, so it sees aggregate traffic figures and standard server logs. Resend delivers the resulting email, and holds a copy of it in transit and briefly at rest.

Each publishes its own privacy policy, and each acts as a processor on my behalf rather than using your information for its own purposes.

A form submission arrives as an email and lives in my email account. There is no customer database behind this site and no marketing list. If an inquiry does not lead to a conversation, I delete it within 24 months. If it leads to work, I keep it for as long as the working relationship lasts and for two years after that, because that is roughly how long I might need to know how something started.

Resend, which delivers the email, keeps a copy in its own logs for 30 days and then deletes it automatically. I do not extend that window.

You can ask me to delete yours sooner than any of that, and I will.

Analytics runs by default, and you can switch it off whenever you like. Use the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page, which reopens your choices. Rejecting analytics stops Google Analytics loading and clears the cookies it set.

If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this site detects it and switches analytics off automatically, without you having to click anything. A notice at the top of the page will tell you when that has happened.

Cloudflare Web Analytics stays on. It sets no cookies, collects nothing personal, and cannot identify you.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what is held about you, get a copy of it, correct it, or have it deleted. You do not need to live in a particular state or country for me to honor that. Email privacy@switchboardpartners.com and say what you want. I will confirm within a few days and act within thirty.

Realistically, what I hold is a form submission and some analytics data that is not attached to your name. Deleting the first is straightforward. The second is aggregated and not identifiable, so there is usually nothing there to delete.
